Adding a link to the Welcome Page

1. From the Control Panel, click Course Settings. The Course Settings screen appears.
2. Under Create/Edit Welcome Page, click Edit welcome page. The Create/Edit Welcome Page screen appears.
3. Under Options: Links, click Add URL. The Add Link to URL screen appears.
4. In the Title text box, enter a name for the link.
5. Under Link appearance, specify how you want the link to appear: the title, the icon, or both.
   • To select an icon, enter the path and filename in the Icon filename text box, or to select the file, click Browse. The WebCT Browser appears. Note: Images must be saved in .gif or .jpg format.
6. In the URL text box, enter the URL.
7. Under Open in, select the browser window in which you want the URL to display.
8. Click Add. The Create/Edit Welcome Page screen appears.
9. To preview your changes, click Preview welcome page.
